What happened to friendly games? Suddenly a simple bow towards an opposing teams fan section starts a riot? What in the heck? Miami should be ashamed of themselves. They knew they were going to walk all over Florida International yet they still allowed themselves to be involved in a brawl. FIU dismissed 2 of their players and Miami extended one of their players suspensions indefiently. It seems like more and more these days their are brawls in simple friendly sporting events. This game wasnt for the National Title, nor was it even predicted to be a close game. The game ended with Miami winning 35-0, not a shock. So why do Miami players allow themselves to be dragged into a brawl. Ya the FIU guy pushed one of your guys, that doesnt give you a right to go knock over one of the FIU guys. Let it go, the ref will flag them. Stupid on both sides. Sport orginizations need to get their act cleaned up.

Well, football is a team game. And "good" teammates stick together. If you hit this person, then someone else joins in, and then another joins in. Kind of like how the WWI was like.

Being such an emotional sport, one person is bound to lose it eventually and take something personal. It happens in every team sport. There have been incidents in each one of them, too.

Hell, I bet if someone on your [soccer] team gets punched or something, someone on your team would come to his rescue and get his hands dirty. I know this has happened many times in my hockey games.

Hockey is different, you are allowed to fight and are given just a penalty for 5 minutes or ejected for that game if it gets to bad. In soccer we have had a guy get punched, we let the ref take care of it. We restrained our own guys from fighting and let the ref deal with it. MU should of let that happen. Now they are with out some of their top players and that could really hurt them.
